People usually have a “knee jerk” response to the death penalty.  Either they are for it or they are against it.  Both sides claim that they maintain their position for the sake of “justice.”  Yet, few people really understand the issue in depth.

The following resources are meant to help you deepen your understanding of the issue and, in turn, have your conscience more profoundly formed.

The Coalition also offers an array of additional educational opportunities for our parish and the larger community.  These programs range from ongoing speaker series to facilitated discussions on specific advocacy issues to intensive 5-10 week courses on emergent issues of justice and peace.  For more information on these, please see our Education page.
